Chuckandrae.com is a gathering place for all our thoughts, photos and things we like to talk about. The idea first came about when our union together made us realize we really enjoyed the web a lot together. We, incidentally, met each other on the web through a game we still play today called Ultima-Online. Otherwise known as “UO”.
Anyways, I had been working on websites for a while when Rae and I met. She used to look over my shoulder during the hours we spent sitting next to each other playing our games and exploring the web. Eventually, I taught her an image editing software, known as PhotoImpact. She later became much more fluid in its use than myself. On one of her birthdays, I purchased her a web name to reflect how I met her as, which was Laraeven.
She now owns the site, Laraeven.com. She had fun dabbling into making websites as I usually did. Changing layouts every so often, changing her content, and really becoming creative at it!
We have since had one child together (Vincent), and soon to have another on the way (baby 3) lol…. as you can tell we still haven’t figured on a name yet, but it’s getting there! Of course last but definitely not least, is Brittany, Rae’s daughter from a previous marriage.
Hrmm… I do keep going off topic don’t I!!
This site became a venture between Rae and I to gather our collective thoughts into one place, so that our friends, family, and one day our kids, could use it to contact us, see us, talk to us, and see how we are doing and if there are any cool tips or tid-bits we can amuse anyone with.
In a nutshell, I suppose that is what we are all about! It’s a place for all our family really, if anyone else would like to use it to post about things or place photos. In the future, this will be the portal I want our kids to start on so they can learn the web, and how to use computers and do well at it. Face it folks, the internet is here to stay… and so are we!
